Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Ultrasound Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Cardiac / Vascular Sonographer – Tulsa, OK Start Date : ASAP Weekly Pay : $2,983.74 / week Job Summary : A facility in Tulsa, OK is seeking an experienced Cardiac / Vascular Sonographer to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams. This role provides accurate images and measurements to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions. The technologist will also support physicians during complex interventional procedures in the OR, Cath Lab, and Hybrid Lab, including TAVR, SAVR, Tandem Heart, Lariet procedures, and pseudoaneurysm compression . Responsibilities : Perform adult and / or pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures, including TEE and stress echo . Conduct peripheral vascular procedures (arterials, renals, transcranial Doppler). Review and document patient data, report abnormal findings to physicians promptly. Assist physicians during advanced cardiac procedures to minimize procedural risks. Maintain accurate records, procedural data, and departmental documentation. Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policies, infection control, and safety standards. Participate in QA, accreditation, and continuing education activities. Serve in on-call rotation as needed. Requirements : Experience : Minimum 6 months related experience (cardiac / vascular ultrasound). Education : High School Diploma or GED required; completion of Diagnostic or Cardiac Ultrasound program preferred. Licensure / Certifications : ARDMS (RDCS or RVT) or CCI (RCS or RVS) required. BLS certification required. Skills : Must have experience with Chronic Venous Insufficiency . Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with physicians and staff. Preferred : Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical or Cardiac Ultrasound program.
