As a Senior Cost Analyst , you will be responsible for compiling and analyzing data that affects manufacturing inventory inputs and assembling data into cost-of-goods-sold reports.

What You’ll Do :

  • Cost Analysis & Reporting

Compile and analyze manufacturing and operational reports for costs, variances, and trends.

  • Compare standard material and labor costs to actuals; investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Post standard cost of goods for month-end close and prepare cost of goods sold (COGS) reports.
  • Inventory Management

    • Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliations, and transaction audits.

  • Assist with year-end physical inventory audits.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with operations, procurement, and finance teams to align cost strategies and support business decisions.

  • Provide insights into cost drivers and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Additional Responsibilities

    • Support other projects / initiatives as assigned.

    What You’ll Bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, operations, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
