SENIOR COOK (FULL TIME)

Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Senior Cook position at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast, 120 Gateway Corporate Boulevard, Columbia, SC 29203. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule : Full time; Monday through Friday, 5 : 30 am to 1 : 30 pm and 6 : 30 am to 2 : 30 pm. Every other weekend, 6 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm. More details upon interview. Pay : $16.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use. Perform scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items according to policy. Maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated / frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of the food supply.
• Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
