Travel High-Risk OB Ultrasound Technologist Charlotte, NC

We are currently seeking an experienced Travel High-Risk OB Ultrasound Technologist for a contract assignment in Charlotte, NC. This is an excellent opportunity to work with high-risk obstetric patients while gaining valuable experience and exploring all that Charlotte has to offer.

Assignment Details :

Location : Charlotte, NC

Contract Length : 13 weeks (with potential for extension)

Shift : Days, evenings, or nights depending on facility needs

Hours : Guaranteed 3640 hours per week

Compensation : Competitive weekly pay package (includes hourly wages plus stipends for housing and meals)

Responsibilities :

Perform high-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting as needed

Accurately document findings and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

Follow all safety standards and regulatory guidelines

Skills Required :

Experience with high-risk obstetric patient population

Ability to work independently

Ability to obtain nuchal translucency in 1st trimester scans

Ability to obtain umbilical artery and MCA Dopplers

Competency in fetal cardiac views : 4-chamber heart, LVOT, RVOT, aortic arch, ductal arch, SVC-IVC, and 3-vessel view (3VV)

Qualifications :

Current RDMS (OB / GYN) certification required; specialized maternal-fetal or high-risk OB experience preferred

Active BLS certification

Minimum of 12 years of recent high-risk OB ultrasound experience (travel experience preferred but not required)

Strong technical skills and patient care abilities

Ability to adapt quickly in new clinical environments
