Purpose of Job
Serves as an Epic Analyst for Revenue Cycle. Supporting IT efforts & build within the Epic system. Partnering closely with Ridgeview's Host site analysts
Job Functions
- Provides well rounded technical assistance, support, and advice to users; troubleshoots, and resolves user problems and / or escalates to appropriate resource.
- Take an ambiguous situation, ID stakeholders, organize a discussion, clarify the problem statement, work through decisions, define the best solution, plan and execute implementation and ensure the solution continues to meet needs.
- Proficient in project management and ability to independently manage med complexity initiatives. Develops outcomes-oriented work plans and manages project activities and deliverables.
- Partner with resources outside of the IT Department who support the use of technology in various areas. Serving as a gateway to IT services supporting work moving through the standard processes.
- Serves as the Revenue Cycle Analytics Analyst. Creating needed reporting product and creating and modifying application reports based on user request.
- Maintain current knowledge of ongoing IT initiatives that could impact their user base. Presents well to user base in written and in person presentation in a language that is understandable customers including senior leadership
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education / Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree or 7+ years of complex IT environment experienceExperience in Hospital / Clinic information systems EMR, specifically EpicKnowledge of Rev Cycle workflowsRequires 3-5 years of experience in supporting the Epic ApplicationPrior committee and / or project focused workKnowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions.Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence to complete job functions as mentioned above.Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of healthcare business process and technology preferredPrevious experience in Revenue Cycle within a healthcare systemExperience providing education in a hospital environmentMaster's degree or Informatics certificationCertification in Resolute HB or PBLink to Physical Demands

Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as : the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity. Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
