Overview
We are seeking a self-starter to fill our Account Manager role based out of our Stewartville location.
The Account Manager generates new business through the sale of new and used equipment, parts and rental services. Calls on existing accounts and assesses the potential application of company products and / or services to offer solutions that meet customer needs
Focuses on developing strong, long-lasting relationships with Business, Municipalities, Contractors, Farmers & Large property owners.
Responsibilities
- Provides top notch customer service through active account management within an assigned territory and customer base.
- Acts as a strategic business partner to the customer, being a trusted advisor when it comes to making informed purchasing decisions.
- Conducts customer site visits on a routine basis to develop relationships, become knowledgeable in customer operations, identify business needs, and continually deliver solutions and value to strengthen customer loyalty.
- Acts as a communication liaison on behalf of the customer, to the dealership, in getting questions and concerns addressed quickly. Acts with a high sense of urgency when communicating with customers, particularly if / when customer concerns arise
- Coordinates with others at the dealership to ensure all deliverables meet customer expectations. Bring product specialists and other staff into discussions when their expertise is needed.
- Majority of time worked is on-the-road but also assists in covering the showroom floor one to two days per week. Works a schedule that is conducive to meeting customer needs which may require some time outside of normal business hours.
- Track all sales activities within CRM and stay current by updating account information daily.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
3+ years of proven sales experienceProficient in all Microsoft Office applicationsValid driver’s license with a clean driving record and capability to tow a trailerHigh comfort level in initiating conversation and cold callingExcellent organizational skillsProactive problem solverDetail-orientedAbility to work flexible hoursStrong drive to help peopleWorking Conditions
