Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) are mandatory. Experience in a hospital emergency medicine setting is preferred. Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and strong clinical foundation in emergency medicine. Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams in high-stress situations. Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care in a dynamic emergency room setting. Must be fully vaccinated against preventable diseases. Must be credentialed with NC Medicaid / Medicare and enrolled with PECOS as a provider. Must have a valid DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration with a North Carolina address. Seeking a Qualified and Experienced PA for Emergency Medicine
Are you a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) passionate about providing high-quality emergency care? We're searching for a skilled and experienced provider to join our team in a growing community near Fort Bragg, NC. This temporary opportunity offers a flexible start date as soon as possible (ASAP) and extends until the end of October (October 31st, 2024).
Responsibilities :
- Deliver comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment, including both adults and pediatrics (depending on your experience).
- Conduct thorough patient histories, perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform emergency procedures as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Meditech 6.1 electronic medical record system.
