Position Description
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Davis Health is recruiting two full-time Academic Generalist Obstetrician / Gynecologists . Appointments will be made at the Assistant or Associate Health Sciences Clinical Professor level, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Selected candidates will provide comprehensive clinical care in general obstetrics and gynecology as part of the University Women’s Health (UWH) group, the largest division within the department, with over 16 faculty members. Faculty responsibilities include :
Outpatient clinics
Direct supervision and teaching of medical students and residents in clinic, Labor and Delivery, in the operating room, and on inpatient wards
Participation in scholarly projects, quality improvement initiatives, and / or research
Qualifications
The salary range for this position is $271,000-327,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan.
