Required Skills & Experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license and in good standing with the California or Washington State Bar (multi-state licensure is a plus)
- Strong interest or background in insurance coverage law—a niche and intellectually demanding practice area
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex legal issues
- Excellent analytical mindset, ideally supported by an academic background in reading-intensive disciplines such as Political Science, History, Philosophy, English or similar
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, with ability to meet billable hour targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented legal environment
- Active learner with a growth mindset and a passion for continuous development

Position Overview :
We are looking for Insurance Coverage and Litigation Attorneys who are either experienced in or highly passionate about insurance coverage law. This is a niche practice area that requires strong analytical thinking, excellent legal research, and top-tier writing skills. The role will involve representing insurers in complex coverage disputes, litigation, alternative dispute resolution and advisory or consulting on coverage issues, while also helping grow the firm’s book of business with existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Represent insurers in coverage litigation, advising on policy interpretationConduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategyDraft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal memorandaParticipate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trialsCollaborate with clients and internal teams to identify coverage issues and provide strategic legal counselContribute to business development efforts and client relationship growthCompensation & Benefits :
