Electrical Engineer - Power Distribution and Lighting Systems

My client is a well-regarded MEP Consulting Engineering firm actively seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in the design of power distribution and lighting systems.

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Design power, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunications plans, including circuitry, details, one-line diagrams, and specifications.
• Perform system design calculations, load calculations, arc flash & fault current analysis, and lighting calculations to support electrical design.
• Prepare electrical construction documents such as drawings, specifications, and reports for various building types, including retail, office, multifamily residential, healthcare, and institutional sectors.
• Review electrical documents for conflicts with other building systems.
• Ensure the design aligns with the overall project vision and schedule, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams including owners, architects, contractors, and other engineers.
• Assist in selecting and specifying appropriate equipment for building systems.
• Prepare reports and specifications.
• Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architects.
• Participate in client meetings to establish needs and discuss design issues.
