About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Minnesota starting Oct 6, 2025. This 72-day opportunity features day shifts from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with any 3 days per week required. The assignment involves extensive hands-on wound care primarily in long-term care facilities and residential settings.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide advanced wound care to patients in both individual residences and long-term care facilities (approximately 90 percent LTC)Utilize UltraMist Wands and perform skin grafts, including fish skin, placenta, and lab-grown graftsDeliver direct hands-on wound care to a diverse patient populationDocument patient encounters using the WoundExpert EMR systemCollaborate with surgical PAs and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomesTravel between assigned sites to deliver wound care services as neededAdditional Information
Must have current Nurse Practitioner license in MinnesotaHands-on wound care experience is requiredWound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification requiredCandidates with advanced wound care experience will be fast trackedExperience with UltraMist Wands and various types of skin grafts is strongly preferredBenefits
