Overview

Pima Federal Credit Union of Tucson, AZ is hiring a full-time Member Service Representative. This role is universal in branches, focused on providing exceptional customer service and promoting financial products and services to meet members' needs. The position handles teller transactions, opens and closes accounts, conducts loan application interviews, processes loans, funds loans, and presents loan disclosures. The Member Service Representative is the face of the credit union and supports a culture of teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Process teller transactions, open and close accounts, update member information, conduct loan application interviews, process loan applications, fund loans, and present loan disclosures.
  • Step into the teller line to process banking transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  • Promote financial products and services to improve members' well-being and achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on all credit union products and services and provide solutions that meet members' needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of current financial institution experience as Teller or Member Service Representative OR two years of current sales, retail, or customer service experience with cash handling responsibilities
  • Intermediate proficiency with computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to offer solutions that meet members' needs
  • Flexibility to travel to other branches on occasion
  • Preferred : Symitar (Episys) knowledge; bilingual English / Spanish skills
