Sr. Support Engineer - Power BI

Overview

Summary : We are seeking a Sr. Support Engineer – Power BI to lead our BI support team, ensuring platform stability, performance, and security. The role focuses on resolving complex Power BI issues, managing datasets, workspaces, and permissions, performing root cause analysis, optimizing report performance, and supporting deployments.

Base pay range

$105,000.00 / yr - $120,000.00 / yr

Location

This is an in-office position in Phoenix, Arizona, and we prefer candidates in the Phoenix area. We do not sponsor visas for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Power BI and lead Tier 1–3 support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex BI production issues
• Administer workspaces, gateways, datasets, and user permissions
• Optimize report performance, dataset refreshes, and capacity
• Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to resolve upstream issues.
• Create documentation, SOPs, and training materials
• Monitor platform health and recommend system improvements.
