Job Description

As a Security Professional - Hotel Patrol Driver PT in Potomac, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a hotel and resort location. You will remain visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service and communication to guests and staff. This is a driving post, where you will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas from a company vehicle, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations at the hotel or resort in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort, including interior spaces and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions that may impact guests, employees, or property.

Work closely with hotel or resort management and Allied Universal to support a welcoming and secure environment for all occupants.

Maintain accurate and detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrol observations as required by Allied Universal procedures.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Experience providing customer service is preferred.

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
