Veterinary Legal Counsel

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its corporate team.

Key Responsibilities

Negotiate and manage vendor contracts while ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations

Provide strategic legal support aligned with business objectives and advise on employment law issues

Communicate legal risks and strategies to C-level executives and contribute to a collaborative culture

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Active bar membership in at least one state

Experience in contract negotiation and employment law across multiple states

Proven ability to align legal strategy with business goals in a corporate environment

Experience in the veterinary or healthcare industry is preferred
