Carries out additional duties assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or Key Holder. Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Job Summary :
Sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for placement in the store.
Essential Functions :
- Inspects donated items for overall quality and determines disposition of items based on store manager's direction.
- Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and / or distribution.
- Prepares household items for the store according to the store quality and pricing standards.
- Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction.
- Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality.
- Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine.
- Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.
Additional Responsibilities :
Education and / or Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in sales is preferred.
