Finance Data Management and Governance - Senior - Tech Consulting - Location Open

Location : Chicago, with other locations available in the region.

The Finance Applications Data Manager is a crucial role responsible for supporting the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the overall data management strategy for finance applications.

The opportunity

The successful candidate will leverage their deep expertise in finance applications and enterprise data management to support key finance personas. One of the key responsibilities will focus on developing and implementing the "FDL consulting blueprint" service offering, with the goal of creating an industry-agnostic data model.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the effective management and utilization of finance application data, harnessing the power of Machine Learning and Azure data technologies.
  • Develop and implement the Azure Finance Lakehouse solution offering.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Foster relationships with client personnel and deliver quality client services.
  • Manage expectations, motivate teams, and foster an innovative work environment.
  • Support Data Management Strategy Execution and collaborate with cross-service line teams.
  • Define data requirements, architecture, and models for finance applications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries and entity-relationship diagrams.

    • To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately three years of related work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, with at least 1 year focused on finance application data.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance and quality.
  • Experience with Machine Learning techniques, Gen AI technologies, and Azure data services.

    • Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field with relevant experience in finance data management.
