Description of the Role

Chevrolet Of Troy is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently. Starting at $30 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Determine the root cause of vehicle problems and propose solutions
  • Repair or replace vehicle parts as needed
  • Test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed successfully
  • Keep detailed records of all work performed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification from an accredited automotive technology program (preferred but not required)
