Description :

This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision.

Mechanical ventilation is a key responsibility.

Medicated aerosol delivery is performed as needed.

Airway clearance therapy is a vital component of the role.

Patient monitoring is conducted regularly.

Oxygen and humidity therapy are provided to patients.

Special procedures including CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, and transport are performed.

Additional Responsibilities :

Other duties are assigned as necessary.

Compliance with all policies and standards is required.

Specific duties and responsibilities can be found in departmental documentation.

Must maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients.

Annual training on the appropriate use of PHI in the workplace is mandatory.
