United Trades of America is actively seeking highly skilled and experienced pipefitters to join our esteemed team in Metairie, AL. If you have a proven track record in pipefitting and are dedicated to delivering high-quality workmanship, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for!

Job Responsibilities :

  • Pipe Installation and Assembly : Expertly install and assemble pipes for various systems including water, gas, and steam. Ensure pipes are positioned accurately and fittings are secure to meet project specifications and standards.
  • Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the precise layout and material requirements for piping systems. Translate these plans into actionable steps for installation.
  • Pipe Cutting and Welding : Utilize a range of tools to cut, thread, and weld pipes as needed. Apply your skills in different welding techniques to ensure strong, durable joints and connections. Maintain a high level of precision and craftsmanship in all tasks.
  • System Maintenance and Repair : Conduct thorough inspections of existing piping systems to identify and address leaks, defects, or other issues. Perform necessary repairs and maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Coordination and Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other trades, contractors, and project managers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Communicate effectively to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during installation or repair.

Qualifications :

  • Technical Skills : Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics. Skilled in cutting, threading, and welding pipes using various tools and techniques.
  • Safety and Compliance : Thorough understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to best practices.
  • Location : Must be located in or willing to commute to [City, State]. Reliable transportation is necessary for accessing job sites.
