A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Examiner I.

Key Responsibilities

Manage an assigned medical-only caseload of workers' compensation claims

Determine compensability of claims and administer benefits according to state law

Communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors regarding claims issues

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred

One year or more related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Technical understanding of statutory regulations and medical terminology

Proficient in Word and Excel (preferred)

Ability to interact with persons at all levels in the business environment
