Schedule 12-hour night shifts with a requirement for every other weekend. Travelers must work 2 out of 4 holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless patient care. Responsibilities Apply, interpret, and respond to telemetry monitoring of patients. Perform IV and NG tube insertions as necessary. Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure quality patient care. Work with patients and families for comprehensive care and understanding of treatment plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience. Minimum 1 year of experience in Med-Surg Telemetry. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. NIH Stroke Scale certification prior to starting. Telemetry certification preferred. Experience in a 300 bed facility or any UVMHN acute care facility is required.
