Position Summary

JMT is seeking a motivated Water Resources Project Engineer with 6-10 years of design experience to join the Trenton, NJ group. The Project Engineer will perform various design and permitting tasks under the oversight of senior engineers. The successful candidate will be well-versed across the water resources discipline with demonstrated design experience in drainage, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management design, H&H modeling, and permitting, with the capability to perform a variety of design tasks in the civil engineering and environmental permitting field.

Benefits

Compensation for this position is $43.00 - $55.00 / hour, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. This range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described. The actual salary range may vary with the applicant pool.

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment 75% of the time. Work is generally sedentary but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc., within the office environment.

Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat / cold, wet / humid, and dry / arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.

Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening to occasionally conduct site visits, field investigations, or inspections.
