Second Shift Vehicle Prep Technician

We're hiring for a Second Shift Vehicle Prep Technician in Rockville, MD at Montgomery County Police Department!

We are looking for an individual that understands the automotive electrical system and that knows how to work on vehicles. As a Vehicle Prep Technician your primary responsibilities will be building police cars. This includes installing, repairing, testing, and removing 12-volt law enforcement vehicle equipment, including, but not limited to light bars, flashers, sirens, video cameras, laptops, printers, consoles, transport partitions, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, and more.

For this position automotive or marine 12v experience is a plus.

Transdev Fleet Services works on police, public safety and other vehicles for both local and federal accounts.The Installer must be able to perform physically demanding tasks that may require accessing confined spaces to modify the vehicles to the client's requirements.

Operating Monday- Friday. Some weekend work may be applicable for large projects.
