Functional Description

• Collects, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft and product programs.
• Maintains configuration control of acquisition products and data.
• Tracks configuration changes.
• Coordinates and supports development of Engineering Change Proposals.
• Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

Duties And Responsibilities

As a Sr. Configuration Management Analyst, you are responsible for providing senior staff recommendations on the program Configuration Management (CM) processes, key metrics, and reporting work priorities. Assist in generating, developing and managing program configuration changes, technical directives (TD), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). Apply CM policy to identify, verify, and provide status accounting for configuration items. This position reports to the Program Office CM / DM IPT Lead. These efforts are in support of the E-6B Mercury aircraft that delivers nuclear command, control and communications (NC3) capability for the U.S. Navy's Take Charge And Move Out (TACAMO) mission.
