This position requires an individual who can work well in a team environment, execute on a number of projects concurrently and be a self-starter working with minimal supervision.
Typical Duties Will Include
- Client Meeting and Field Investigation to retrieve existing information
- Development of Design Drawings
- Preparation of lighting calculations, load calculations, power distributions, etc.
- Provide engineering direction and guidance to electrical design staff
- Estimation of probable electrical construction costs
- Prioritizing and scheduling assignments with team to complete projects on time and on budget
- Interfacing with other disciplines within the MEP team for coordination of project designs
- Development of Technical Specifications and Standards
- Study and Analysis of Electrical Power Systems
- Emergency power systems
- Answering RFI’s, reviewing contractor submittals, and performing periodic site visits to determine compliance with construction documents, and resolve design issues during the construction phase
Minimum Requirements For The Position Are As Follows
