Job Summary : The Home and Community Bases Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions for an individual to remain in their own home. Specific job duties may include providing or assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, care of hair, care of teeth and mouth, nail care, skin care, transfer of patients, and assisting with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care.

Education and Experience : Six months experience in home care preferred. Successful completion of a competency evaluation. License Requirements : Current CPR certification required. Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Skill Requirements : Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified patients' needs. Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient. Able to work independently. Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
