As a Security Officer - Media Facility - Full Time in Weirton, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on-site. Pay Rate : $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any incidents, hazards, or suspicious behavior to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors while upholding site-specific protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entries and exits as required by site procedures.
  • Prepare and submit incident reports and daily activity logs as required.
  • Support emergency procedures such as evacuations or lockdowns, following the post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
