Qualifications :
Board-certified internal medicine or family medicine trained physicianActive medical license or eligible to become licensed in New York2 years+ Hospitalist Medical Director experience preferredPractice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling :
Monday through Friday schedule3 clinical shifts per monthKey Responsibilities :
Provide clinical oversight and foster a family-like environment within a blended, collaborative team.Lead efforts in utilization management, compliance, and clinical documentation improvement at Lourdes Hospital.Collaborate with hospital administration to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance.Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings and provide ongoing education and support to our clinicians.As a day clinician, your responsibility will encompass rounding patients, discharging when appropriate, occasional admission, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds.The hospital has a co-managed ICU with intensivist support, no procedures or vent management required.Our hospitalist team is part of the rapid response and code team - we're all certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. The intensivists will provide support.We use EPIC EMR and have access to our own internal informatics platform.Living and Working in Binghamton :

Compensation : The yearly base salary is $420k+, with opportunities for bonuses based on performance and growth.
