[2025-2026] Visual Arts Teacher - High School – KIPP NYC

KIPP NYC Public Schools is a non-profit network of 18 free, public charter schools in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. We partner with families and communities to create joyful and rigorous schools in pursuit of a more just world. The CPHS high school program serves students in grades 9-12 with a college-preparatory focus and a range of AP, dual enrollment, and honors options.

Responsibilities

• Planning a college-preparatory curriculum that aligns with school standards and New York State Standards, fostering critical thinking.
• Delivering thoughtful, rigorous daily college-preparatory lessons.
• Assessing student progress and communicating results to students, families, and colleagues.
• Providing individual and small-group instruction until students achieve mastery.
• Modeling the school's values in communications with students, families, and staff.
• Demonstrating a "whatever it takes" approach to ensure each student is successful.
• Advising a small group of students to support success through high school.

KIPP NYC offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,829 - $142,270 per year, determined by experience, certification, and longevity within the KIPP network.
