ER RN Job Details – Hyannis, MA Location : Hyannis, Massachusetts (02601) – Cape Cod healthcare jobs Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 14, 2026 Duration : 13-week nursing contract Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am), every other weekend and holiday, with unpaid lunch Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100 - $2250 Registered Nurse Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience At least 1 year of ER travel nursing experience preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Successful completion of hospital pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams Proficient in IV administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring Strong communication skills in English Completion of an approved de-escalation certification course preferred TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications preferred ER RN Responsibilities Provide patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Administer medications and monitor patient responses Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary healthcare personnel Maintain accurate and current patient records and clinical documentation Develop and communicate individualized patient care plans, including discharge planning Serve as charge nurse and resource for ER staff as needed Participate in unit staff meetings, mandatory programs, and ongoing professional development Adhere to hospital safety and infection control policies and procedures Represent the hospital positively within the Hyannis community and maintain patient confidentiality Deliver excellent service to patients, families, and colleagues in the emergency department Perform other nursing duties as assigned by the supervisor Apply now to join our Hyannis, Massachusetts healthcare team as a Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse and make a difference in patient care on Cape Cod!
