Facilities Technician
The Facilities Technician performs day-to-day service and maintenance on cardio and strength equipment. The Facilities Technician performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, general maintenance repairs within the physical plant of each Corporate Club location, to deliver exceptional member experience.
This role will be based near the Statesboro, GA area and will provide service and maintenance for clubs in Statesboro, Vidalia, Bluffton, Hilton Head, Beaufort, Dublin, and Rincon.
Responsibilities
- Successfully repair out-of-order equipment as requested by clubs and receive sign-off of successful completion by the club staff.
- Communicate with the senior facilities technicians daily on progress and obstacles at assigned clubs.
- Consistently achieve at-standard results on the KPI scorecard.
- Responsible for all aspects of the helpdesk ticketing system for assigned clubs.
- Complete thorough club walk-through at each location visited for preventative maintenance (i.e., gym floor, storage, backroom, exterior etc.) and adequate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain and update work schedules using Microsoft Outlook.
- Review received club facilities complaints monthly and addresses outstanding items.
- Maintain company vehicle inventory and cleanliness.
- Accurately document any work done on warranted equipment. Achieve a minimum of 10% of allotted time to be targeted towards equipment warranty work.
- Assist other Facilities team members as needed.
- Continuously grasp / grip, push / pull, bend, twist / turn, kneel, carry, walk, stand, and reach above shoulder level throughout the shift.
- Frequently move equipment and boxes weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Frequently work in a noisy environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and sharp objects such as box cutters.
- Occasionally climb and work in inclement weather.
- Occasionally sit in a car or on a plane, up to 3-hours one-way for travel to clubs.
