Job Details

  • Provides care to patient and family progressing towards individualized goals.
  • Develops and implements nursing care plans using nursing process and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Evaluates patient and family progress and adapts care plans accordingly.
  • Identifies and addresses patient / family educational needs with individualized plans.
  • Recognizes communication barriers and seeks interdisciplinary expertise.
  • Acts as patient advocate promoting participation in decision-making.
  • Documents patient and family care needs per department guidelines.
  • Delegates care within scope of practice to healthcare team members.
  • Coordinates and communicates with healthcare team to optimize patient care and workflow.

    • Job Requirements

  • California RN license required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Strong CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required.
  • Open heart surgery experience required.
  • Scrub experience required.
  • Travel nursing experience preferred.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) specialty.
  • May support Orthopedics, Neurology, Robotics cases when no open heart cases are available.
