Job Summary And Qualifications TheResource Registered Nurse servicing the Emergency Room department as a professional practitioner, assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care while they are relieving other licensed nurses during break / meal periods. You will bedocumenting interventions, outcomes, patient care, and patient response You will beacting as a resource to staff by providing information, and problem solving to immediately resolve patient care problems You will bedeveloping, implementing, and modifying the patient’s plan of care according to the patient’s progress You will be demonstrating knowledge of specific disease processtreatments, interventions and responses based on age specificity, patient’s needs, condition, impairment, or disability You will be reviewing physician orders and accurately transcribe to MAR You will immediately initiate STAT orders You will be assessing, collaborating, reporting, and coordinating the patient’s transfer or discharge planning needs and readinessfor discharge or transfer to another level of care with the other members of the health care team and patient’s family / SO Qualifications : Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing Current RN License by the Board of Nurse Examiners State of California Minimum of one-year acute care hospital experienced preferred in acute care emergency department setting; 2 years is preferred Current BLS Current ACLS Current PALS Current NIH Current TNCC Current ENPC or EDAP Current CPI MICN preferred Los Robles Regional Medical Center is a 380 bed acute care hospital dedicated to serving the residents of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties along with the Greater Conejo Valley.
