Data Center Technician (Startup & Operations) About the Role

Join our organization supporting the startup, commissioning, and operations of AI / HPC data centers. You'll work hands-on with high-density infrastructure while maintaining strict safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all critical facility work rules, safety procedures, and lockout / tagout.
  • Start up, operate, and maintain electrical & mechanical systems (UPS, PDUs, generators, switchgear, cooling).
  • Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance.
  • Support facility walkthroughs and readiness checks.
  • Respond quickly to alarms, emergency situations, and customer concerns.
  • Document daily activities using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Perform physical inventory counts and support parts / tool control.
  • Develop & Adhere to SOP / MOP / EOP execution and quality standards.

What You Bring

  • Mechanical and / or electrical aptitude with the ability to learn and master data center systems.
  • Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to safety.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., work at heights, and stand / walk for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and travel as needed.
  • Valid legal status, driver's license and ability to meet site access requirements.
  • Impeccable work ethic, on time, available, dedicated.
