Job Description
A well-established New York City real estate firm with a portfolio of 8,000 residential units is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee and enhance the operations of its residential leasing department. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of departmental processes, ensure compliance with NYC leasing regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. This is an on-site role in Long Island City with an annual salary of up to $80,000.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of lease administration experience within NYC, including rent-stabilized, rent-controlled, and market-rate properties
- Strong organizational skills and ability to restructure workflows and establish clear departmental procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
Responsibilities :
Manage the lease renewal process for rent-stabilized, rent-controlled, and market-rate unitsEnsure compliance with NYC rent regulations and related housing lawsOversee and guide a small team (2–3 staff members), setting priorities and organizing workflows for maximum efficiencyLiaise with Section 8, Legal, and Accounting departments to streamline communication and resolve issuesMaintain accurate lease tracking, ensuring all deadlines and renewals are metFoster positive tenant relationships and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional mannerBenefits :
