Overview
Donor Systems Administrator role reporting to the Director of Development in the Development department. Summary
Responsible for advancing Messenger International's vision by ensuring the integrity, functionality, and strategic integration of all systems supporting the donor experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day functionality and performance of Messenger's donor CRM and related systems
- Collaborate with Finance, Communications, and Development teams to ensure data flows correctly between donor systems and giving platforms, websites, reporting tools, and donor communications
- Manage data integrity and hygiene efforts, implementing tools and routines for record accuracy, duplicate resolution, and standardized inputs
- Coordinate with vendors and IT partners for CRM customization, integrations, troubleshooting, and system upgrades
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for user support, system training, access requests, and data / reporting needs
- Maintain donor-facing digital platforms (e.g., donor portals, giving pages), ensuring accuracy, functionality, and consistency with Messenger's brand and mission
- Design and generate reports and dashboards to support stewardship initiatives, including campaign tracking, giving trends, and donor segmentation
- Implement and refine workflows and automations to improve internal efficiency and the donor experience
- Document systems processes and best practices; provide training and reference materials for internal users
- Support planning and execution of donor mailings, statements, and digital communications by managing lists and data queries
- Stay informed about industry best practices and technological tools for nonprofit development and donor engagement

Education and / or Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, nonprofit management, or related field preferred2–4 years of experience managing donor databases, CRMs, or other complex information systems in a nonprofit or ministry environmentExperience working with Salesforce, Blackbaud, Planning Center, or equivalent platforms preferredDemonstrated ability to work with data imports / exports, system integrations, and reporting toolsFamiliarity with donor engagement workflows, fundraising strategies, and compliance needsExperience managing or liaising with technology vendors and external contractors a plusGeneral Qualifications

Job Type / Schedule
Full-time, 40-hour work week with the potential for occasional overtime. This is a non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Pay
This has a salary range of $26.50 - $34.00 / hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
