Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at our dermatology clinic in Kettering, OH. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient records
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent training
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
