Highlights : Summary : The Simulation Operations Technician shall be responsible to support the development, technical preparation, and execution of simulation activities utilizing all levels of simulation which would include high fidelity, medium fidelity, low fidelity, task trainers, confederates, and standardized patients. This individual will support, maintain, set up, and operate various simulator technologies including anatomic models and task trainers, full-body patient simulators, screen-based, and virtual reality simulations. The Technician will provide support to educators, instructors, and employees before and after simulation / training sessions. Additionally, the Technician will provide technical assistance and training to educators, instructors, and employees in the use of simulation equipment. This individual will also participate in simulation program development by creating and implementing innovative ideas, evaluate new equipment, and identify opportunities for technology improvement. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience : Associates degree in a healthcare related field required, Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field preferred. At least 1 year experience in the field of healthcare simulation required. Expertise in mechanical, computer and AV technology concepts preferred. License / Certification : BLS required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
