Chatterbox Speech and Language Clinic provides specialized therapy services to children and adults, supporting individuals in developing stronger communication skills. Our clinic is built on care, professionalism, and a family-centered approach. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Data Input Clerk to support our administrative operations.
Position Overview
The Data Input Clerk is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate information in our clinic’s electronic systems. This role supports both clinical and administrative staff by ensuring that records are well-organized, current, and handled with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately enter patient information, appointment details, and billing data into electronic systems
Maintain up-to-date and well-organized records in compliance with clinic procedures and HIPAA regulations
Review entered data for completeness and accuracy
Assist in filing, scanning, and organizing both digital and physical documents
Retrieve data and generate reports when requested by staff
Communicate with administrative and clinical teams to resolve any data discrepancies
Ensure sensitive patient data is handled with the highest level of confidentiality
Support general clerical and office tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or healthcare settings preferred
Strong typing skills and proficiency with computers and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of EMR systems and familiarity with medical or therapy-related terminology is a plus
