Overview

Director of Performance - GVN Performance

The Head Coach is responsible for designing programming for the entire youth hockey organization. Communicates on a regular basis with the program director, team coaches and team managers. Leads teams through training sessions with proper cueing and demonstration. Pursue continuing education courses that align with GVN training methods and philosophies. Successful applicants will be expected to adopt GVN culture and bring a positive attitude while instilling an atmosphere of hard work, dedication and fun. We are looking for motivated individuals that can help us continue reaching our competitive edge.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility of managing training staff and team schedules. 20%
• Creates / Executes training programs for each team age level. 60%
• Communicates effectively with the program director, parents, coaches and GVN regional director. 10%
• Advise athletes about important safety concerns and demonstrate exercises or maneuvers as needed 10%

Location

GVN Performance in North Shore Ice Arena

Compensation

40-60k per year

Hours

Team training in the evening, personal training in the morning and early afternoon.
