Job Title : Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist

Location : Joliet / New Lenox, IL

Employment Type : Part-Time

Our team values professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent patient care. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist to join our growing team.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine and PET scans following established protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to deliver accurate and timely results.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and facility guidelines.
  • Obtain guidance from the radiologist and / or referring physician when order appears unclear or inappropriate.
  • Performs other duties as needed and / or assigned.
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and compliance regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Licensure by the State of Illinois (IEMA).
  • Prior experience in PET / nuclear medicine strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and patient care skills.
  • Proven venipuncture skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, and the ability to work independently without specific supervision in a self-confident manner.
