Strong knowledge of 4G / 5G functional components and troubleshooting methodologies. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally. Experience with RAN EMS's and observability tools. Familiarity with incident management processes and ticketing systems. Proficiency in managing complex technical issues and escalations. Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches.
Join a dynamic team as a Network Surveillance Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in supporting a 24 / 7 Network Operations Center. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the RAN Network and create initial troubleshooting for 5G cell site incident tickets.
- Log incidents and assess their impact using the Service Now ticketing tool.
- Conduct site monitoring and health checks following maintenance activities.
- Oversee the incident management process and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
- Assist in prioritizing incidents based on urgency and business impact.
- Manage outages and emergencies while adhering to agreed KPIs and SLAs.
- Collaborate across multiple functions to drive resolutions for customer complaints.
- Maintain detailed documentation of trouble tickets and troubleshooting processes.
- Ensure optimal levels of open incident backlog and maintain national level availability.
