Sheet Metal Mechanic Paying up to $32 - $100 a day per diem
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Mechanics and Lead Mechanics with over 3 years of experience. The roles are available across multiple sites, including Lynchburg and Roanoke, VA. Candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from reading blueprints to leading teams, and will be working on projects with durations ranging from 6 months to a year.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Lead and manage a crew of 2 to 6 team members, depending on experience.
- Install duct work and related equipment efficiently and accurately.
- Perform layout tasks for duct and equipment placement.
- Supervise daily tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites.
- Maintain and clean work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.

Work Environment
The work schedule includes Monday to Friday from 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, with Saturday shifts from 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm. The work involves exposure to varying temperatures and all weather conditions. A positive attitude, punctuality, and teamwork are essential, along with reliable transportation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynchburg, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00 / hr.
