The Mailroom Specialist is responsible for performing mailroom functions. These include the sorting and distribution of mail and packages, tracking supply inventory, maintaining clean and organized workspace, stocking supplies and paper on a weekly basis.
This position requires an individual who is a self-starter and can work with minimal supervision and possess effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently.
- Maintain an organized mailroom environment and ensure all postal equipment is in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees with mail-related inquiries.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies necessary for mailroom operations.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline communication and enhance delivery processes.
- Maintain paper and office supply stock at convenience care areas
- Replace toner in multifunctional printing devices as needed
- Monitor and fill requests for office supplies
- Maintain detailed records for inventory control of supplies
- Complete detailed monthly reports as requested
- Other duties as assigned by management
