Position Highlights

Schedule : Mon Fri, 8a 5p No call

Duties : Mix of clinic + procedures Avg. procedures / day

Procedures Required : Upper & lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy (with biopsy / polyp removal), small bowel biopsy, PEG placement

Support : APCs in clinic, 3 new endo suites, Epic EMR

Start : ASAP Ongoing assignment

Schedule & Practice Setting :

Full-time schedule : 8am 5pm, Monday Friday

Mix of clinic and procedures, with no call required

Preference for 1 day clinic / 4 procedure days per week (flexible)

Average procedures per day with 3 newly built endoscopy suites and highly skilled staff

Inpatient census : patients on the medical service, with 3 4 in ICU / IMCU

APC support available in clinic

EMR : Epic

Day 1 orientation with EPIC support

Travel and lodging provided (nearest airport : Central Wisconsin CWA)

Required Procedures :

Upper GI Endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration, varices injection)

Small bowel biopsy

Lower GI endoscopy (flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy with biopsy / polyp removal)

PEG tube placement

(ERCP & EUS not required not performed at this facility)

Requirements :

Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Fellowship required)

ACLS and BLS certifications required

Ability to obtain Wisconsin medical license (if not already held)
