Learning their station fully from what ingredients are in their area to where to find items they needLearn new dishes and techniques with weekly featuresUsing menus and presentation guides to provide consistent dishes to guestsLearning to make scratch kitchen items like sauces, desserts and soupsBeing able to prepare dishes in a high-volume restaurant with speed and accuracyPrep food items before serviceEnsure high quality food preparationEnsuring their station and kitchen are clean and set up for the next shiftUnderstanding food safety and following sanitation guidelinesBecoming part of team working side by side through the busy shiftsWhat are we looking for?
Able to lift at least 50 poundsStrong organizational skillsMust be willing to work a variety of day / night shiftsWeekend availability1-3 years of previous experience working within restaurants / scratch kitchensAbility to stand for long periods of time
