HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in the Manufacturing industry in Kansas City, MO!

Salary : $80,000–$90,000 annually

Shift : Tuesday–Friday, 5 : 00 PM–5 : 00 AM (Night Shift)

Location : Kansas City, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preventative and predictive maintenance activities with technical and production planning teams
  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly PM assignments and ensure follow-through and adherence to schedules
  • Conduct daily communication meetings with maintenance personnel to align on priorities
  • Assist in repair, modification, and installation efforts alongside maintenance staff
  • Plan and manage manpower needs, including scheduling, capacity planning, and overtime
  • Direct and distribute work for the assigned maintenance area and team
  • Monitor and share KPI results with the team to drive continuous improvement
  • Optimize use of equipment and manpower to meet production goals efficiently
  • Support development and implementation of procedures that improve safety, quality, cost, and motivation
  • Ensure all activities are aligned with company and safety standards

Education Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR
  • Certification in Electrical, Millwright, or Tool & Die OR
  • Equivalent work-related experience
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in automotive manufacturing operations
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance setting
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc Robotics, Allen Bradley PLCs, and MFDC weld controllers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP, MES, PM systems)
  • Solid mechanical, electrical, and machining knowledge
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage confidential information and demonstrate sound judgment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional travel (valid driver’s license and passport required)
