We are looking for a skilled Lease Negotiation Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to our lease negotiators and lease negotiation manager. This role will serve as a key liaison between the legal and real estate departments, ensuring the seamless preparation and submission of lease agreements for review and signature. This is a long-term contract position based in Chesapeake, Virginia, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic retail industry team.
Responsibilities :
- Assemble and organize final lease documents, preparing and submitting lease packages for review and signature.
- Create and manage lease packages in DocuSign to facilitate electronic signing processes whenever possible.
- Draft and send transmittal letters accompanying signed leases to landlords.
- Review executed lease agreements to identify and document any changes.
- Update internal systems with accurate lease dates and relevant details.
- Coordinate and prepare pre-turnover packages specifically for Dollar Tree leases.
- Develop and maintain lease negotiation reports using Excel, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with off-site real estate attorneys to provide administrative support as needed.
- Assist with special projects to support the real estate and legal teams.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience providing administrative support, ideally in lease administration or a similar field.
- Proficiency in using DocuSign for managing and processing electronic documents.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel for creating and managing reports and documents.
- Familiarity with lease agreements, lease negotiation processes, and related administrative tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to review and verify legal documents for accuracy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate between departments and external stakeholders.
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records in internal systems.
- Ability to handle inbound calls and provide thorough administrative assistance.
