Responsibilities
Our engineers collaborate with interdisciplinary partners, coordinate with diverse engineering teams, and help ensure project success. A typical day may include developing design studies, preparing engineering calculations & analyses, attending project meetings, performing a walkdown, or mentoring junior employees.
Create impactful engineering deliverables : produce precise and error-free drawings, calculations, and analyses that meet industry codes, standards, and client expectations.Set the standard : develop engineering documents that exceed client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.Stay on the cutting edge : continuously enhance expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques in the nuclear sector.Drive quality and precision : deliver engineering solutions aligned with quality assurance programs.Cultivate strong client connections : build trust through clear communication and professional engagement.Collaborate for success : partner with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated designs.Be active in the field : perform on-site plant walkdowns and ensure structures, systems, and components meet high engineering standards.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; minimum 10 years of relevant experience.Experience in one of the following industries : engineering / design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (chemical or pulp & paper), or government (DOE) projects.Nuclear Engineering Change qualifications from any site are preferred.10 CFR 50.59 screening / evaluation qualifications preferred.Knowledge of digital hardware and software components used in digital I&C system platforms.Experience in design, installation, and testing of large-scale digital control and computer monitoring system upgrades at power plants; upgrades may include turbine / generator control systems, DCS platforms, process computers, and cybersecurity systems.Involvement in the full digital upgrade life cycle (feasibility studies, procurement specs, design change packages, FAT / SAT procedures, installation, and testing).Working knowledge of current regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards.Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work as an individual contributor and in a team environment.Mentorship experience or interest in mentoring engineers is preferred.Must be able to be badged at a nuclear facility and perform plant walkdowns.Pay Range
USD $90,000.00 - USD $177,450.00 / Yr.
